It's A Grand Old Team To Play For
Welcome to ToffeeText
For most of the last 30-odd years, apart from the 1995 FA Cup Final victory over Manchester United, the only thing Evertonians have had to look forward to has been the past. But now, work has begun on the club's new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock and hopefully by the time the difficult but necessary switch from Goodison Park takes place, we will have a team worthy of the stunning new landmark on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey.
For Blues fans, as that time approaches, nostalgia for the highs and lows at Goodison, and other grounds where the club's illustrious history has been forged, will inevitably increase and ToffeeText provides a unique opportunity for you to re-live your favourite Everton moments.
We all have games which will be forever lodged in our memories. For me, it's the dramatic 1966 FA Cup Final comeback against Sheffield Wednesday and being on the pitch after we had secured the League title against West Brom in 1970. But most of all, as for many Bluenoses lucky enough to have been there, the unforgettable night on Wednesday 24th April 1985 when we beat Bayern Munich en route to European Cup Winners' Cup glory.
Whatever Everton games mean most to you, we can re-create them and bring back to life the details which, over time, may have been forgotten - the goalscorers, the line-up, even the date of the match itself. Our database covers all of Everton's games so if you, or a loved one, has a personal favourite which isn't already featured on ToffeeText, contact us and we'll re-produce it for you in the classic teletext format of yesteryear.
